Few people personify dedication to skiing like Thomas Alsgaard. A driven competitor practically born on skis, Thomas began skiing on Madshus skis early on at the age of 14, and he has been an integral part of the Madshus family since. From 1994 to 2003, Thomas lit up the international stage on Madshus skis, winning his first gold medal on home ground at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. His success continued in classic, freestyle and pursuit events, leading to five gold medals and one silver and nine FIS World Ski Championship medals. Thomas has continued to compete in marathon races like the World Loppet, and as a technical advisor is more involved with Madshus than ever.
